Loud. Muse. Vegas.

Last weekend Tyler, and I went to Vegas to go see Muse in concert! We went with our cousins Devin and his wife Lexi. It was my first loud in your face concert. We left Friday after class and got there at around eleven, we ate at Cafe Rio and it was delicious. Once we got there we went out, we went to the Fremont Casino. We were looking at around at the bright lights and sounds when a guy who is in charge of the casino came to card us. We just looked so innocent and scared.

We went back to our cheap dirty hotel and found it wasn't that clean. Their was a dirty towel on the floor next to the door and of course, it wouldn't be Vegas if their were used cans of Bud Light under our sink. Our key cards did work and we were afraid of bed bugs but don't worry we didn't. The next day we went out and party. We went to the Paris Hotel, then Planet Hollywood, the Cosmopolitan then went to go eat the most delicious (& expensive) buffet of our lives in Cesars Palace. They had everything you could ever imagine.

After that we headed back to the hotel, we were beat and took 3 hour nap, we couldn't believe we slept for that long. After that we went back out and went to Casino Royal. By the time we were done we had missed the last shuttle so we decided to walk home. It was amazing warm, we have been in Rexburg for so long we forgot what warmth felt like. It was a nice two mile walk but I got huge blisters, thankfully I am a dancer so it doesn't hurt for long. The next day we went to the Pawn Shop store, from the show Pawn Stars on the History channel. It was pretty cool but not what I thought it would be.

After that we went to go see the other half of the strip. We took the monorail and looked around the MGM Grand Hotel, then the Excalibur and played at the kiddy arcade. Then we went to the M&M factory and the coke factory. Tyler loved it and I love always going their. We took the tram to the Mandalay Bay where the concert would be playing. We got their when the doors open, and I got a Muse shirt! I love it, but it was so empty until Muse actually started playing. Dead Sara opened for them, I didn't like them that much but everyone else did. Then Muse started playing. I loved it I was screaming and singing as loud as I could and no one could hear me. For me it was a different experience, it was loud with lots of lights, but we don't go to concerts every day. The lead singer tossed his guitar int he crowed and apparently it hit some guy in the head & made him bleed everywhere. Their was this other girl that got her hair stuck on the top of the guitar and everyone was pulling on it and she ended up getting a concussion and went to the ER. After that we went back to the MGM Grand and went back home. It was a wonderful trip to get me back on track and finish the last three weeks of school
