Baby's Room

It feels like all my posts now a days are all about baby! Well it is a big thing having a baby. I am about 31 weeks now, well into my third trimester, if you forgot I'm due Christmas eve! I hope he comes a little after but we will have to see. He is stubborn just like his mom already. His favorite game is kicking mama when she is trying to sleep. During the day he doesn't kick much but at night he thinks its time to play. I hope he doesn't keep this up after he is born. He is super healthy, so am I. I am just so tired all day every day, I can sleep for 12 hours & feel just as tired as I was when I started. I am still working, & hope to keep working as long as I can. Work is so understanding and try to help me as much as possible. My residents always ask how I am doing & my co-worker don't let me move residents and help me with certain tasks. I have been blessed to never have morning sickness. Sometimes I feel sick, but haven't thrown up.
So my parents got us the furniture for the nursery, we got the crib, changing table and dresser all at once. I couldn't wait & we had to put it all up, it was very easy, it only took an hour & a half. After it was all put together I put all his stuff in his room.

After a few days we got the mattress and the glider. We are so excited, we were imaging just rocking our boy in the chair in the middle of the night, just loving him. We are getting impatience just wanting his to come already. But we are trying to enjoy this last us time we have.

Anniversary!!!!

Tyler & I celebrated our one year anniversary! We can't believe it has been a year already! The time goes by so quickly. We have learned so much about each other & have helped each other grow so much. It really does make you a better person, but we didn't really have a tough year. We have been on the same page for a lot, we have both worked on compromising, (one of us more than the other) & never really fought. If the first year is suppose to be the hardest then the rest should be a breeze. I came back from California on our anniversary. My handsome husband was dressed just like he was a year before. We ate year old cake which was not that bad. The next day we went to Babies R Us & Target & got things for baby which was so much fun, then we went out to the Cheesecake Factory to celebrate, courtesy of my parents. The last bit of celebrating, we are going to stop for a day in Vegas when we drive down to Arizona in November. I am so excited for another vacation.

Baby Shower

I was so blessed a few weeks ago to go back to California for a few days to have a baby shower for our little baby. I left on Tuesday & flew into Long Beach airport. If you haven't been there since their remodel, you should go soon, it is a completely different airport. The days leading up to the baby shower were packed with preparing, and getting the house ready. Mom had picked out a lot of cute things, I didn't give her enough credit. We made party favors, food, and decorations, which took all week. I really loved this shower more than my bridal, why? We think because we were so stressed because marriage is such a big thing, not that having a baby isn't, but it was a completely different feeling in the atmosphere. The theme of the shower was rubber duckies, so we had blue and yellow all over the place along with ducks.

Molly's nice made this beautiful portrait for us, I was so sad I couldn't bring it just yet

We were getting everything ready when the cake arrived. Mom surprised me & told me nothing, it was beautiful, I was so shocked!

Made by Melanie Goff

We had so much fun, lots to eat, had cake played games and opened presents. Tyler, mom & I are so overwhelmed by the amount of love & support we have gotten. We have no idea how we would be able to do it alone. We got almost everything we needed for baby & we are just waiting until he decides to come. We can't wait to share our joy when Christmas gets here.

Teddy even got a toy

He thought everything I opened was for him
